Typically - around here - that's at least $2800.00 to $3100.00 worth of parts and labor - if it includes him assembling the short block. He's doing the rings, main and rod bearing - as well as the balancing.. so he should be held responsible for the assembly as well.

yeah, it's timing kit. like i said, his handwriting is crap >.<

and, as far as i know he's not putting it back together... i should ask him how much that would cost because as it is, i was thinking $2k was a bit much... which was why i asked you guys!
