Has anyone ever seen flat black painted up in the rear deck panel before? Was this something Nissan later did, or the previous owner getting involved? I have since replaced the rusted panel shown, but I am fixing to get the car painted and wondered if it goes black there or body color. Thanks for anyone who can clear this up...

Body color. I can speak for my 78 anyway. It's was body color berfore I painted it and I kept it that way.

Body colour on my 70 and 73.

I painted my jams and deck area black and got so much crap I went back to body color.
