Posted November 6, 200717 yr comment_227462 I thought my car was 908 Orange, but the paint tag says 110, which is persimmon. It looks orange to me. The pic shows the color pretty accurately, and you can see the engine bay pretty well. What do you think, orange or persimmon? November 6, 200717 yr comment_227467 908? Maybe you mean 918?110 Red ("Persimmon") is a mostly red color, with some orange hue to it. Orange 918 on the oother hand, is DEFINITELY orange--no mistaking it. Doublecheck ZHome.com, but I'd stick with 110 if that's what the color sticker says. Maybe check some less-exposed areas (under the seats, wheel well, toolbox etc.)Steve Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/26133-110-or-908/#findComment-227467 Share on other sites
November 6, 200717 yr comment_227504 Persimmon is well known to fade badly towards orange in the sun over the years. I've seen several examples of it fading so much it looks like 918 Orange. Check the undersides of the toolbox lids.Similarly, 905 Red will fade until it is almost indistinguishable from Persimmon. And that I know from personal experience... November 7, 200717 yr comment_227717 Yours and mine Weasel - I thought mine was 918, it's 110...it's faded as Arne mentioned, almost orange. However, if you see 918 in person, it's more rust colored than red - that's the give away. From what I can see in the pic, you have 110. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/26133-110-or-908/#findComment-227717 Share on other sites
