Trying to get my headlights working

I am trying to get my headlights working but im really not having much luck getting them working.

I checked all the fuses, they where good. I replaced the headlights with new ones and that didn't help either. I checked for voltage at the plug for the headlights at the front of the car but i got absolutely no voltage there. What else is there to try??

could it be a fusible link? i'm not too keen on the 280Zs or whether the fusible links have any connection with the headlights, but that's the only thing i can think of.

The wires there look to be in rough shape. I wiggled one of them and the lights came on!! Now i have some wire to replace.

Don't replace a fusible link with wire or you'll be headed for more electrical problems.

I would clean them along with the contacts if they're still good. If not, replace them with new ones. If you replace them with wire you'll lose the fusing action.

if you go to autozone or another similar place you can buy fusible link wire. it's different than regular wire because it will "blow" like a fuse

I will check Canadian tire tomorrow for this type of wire. Is there a certain amperage rating i need to look for like I would a normal fuse?
