Just for reference, here is some great info on the subject of damper oil.

Good information I hadn't seen that before. I do use the 20w all year round here in Portland Oregon. Although I haven't any experience below +20 F as it rarely drops below that in winter. Usually it is more like in the mid 30s . Gary
