i always use the hand( emergency)brake in my z, but i never use it in my truck. i lent the truck out, they used the emergency brake and now it's seized and it won't release. any ideas on a quick fix? thankyou very much in advance.

Look behind the rear wheels to see if you can get to the adjusters, if not, take off the rear wheels and try again, if not, TEMPORARILY disconnect the linkage, but fix the adjustors and hook the linkage in short order.

...yhea, my Zs brake is seized up from sitting the winter. Guess I shoulda just used a brick, it was on level ground anyway.

Just one more thing keeping me from getting her out on the road.
