Hey,

Chaning to the Toyota brakes tonight, and in taking out the cotter pin for the nut on the spindle, it broke. Any fixes for this? Can I just use another thin piece of metal, zip tie, anything ideas?

What broke? The cotter pin? The nut? Either one of those is a no-brainer. They're readily available at any auto parts or hardware store.

Cotter pins should always be replaced, never reused.

I'm getting new ones soon.

In an emergency you can use an appropriately sized nail, but it should definintely be replaced with the proper sized cotter pin when possible.
