240z Results from Race at Road Atlanta, June 9th

Grayson Upchurch and E. Radatz Motorsports posted a 3rd place finish after starting 32nd. The poor starting position in the "E Production" race was the result of the primary car losing a motor the day before in qualifing.

This 240z was the same car Grayson drove at the SCCA Championships in Mansfield, Ohio, for 3 years but was sidelined when a new car was built and raced last year. He had not driven the car for a year and a half.

This 72 240z had posted two second place finishes and one sixth place in the Championship races. It had been leading the field until the final laps in two consecutive years when it was bumped from behind one year, and passed in the rain on the last lap by a Honda in another.
