Wow, never seen a Z with that scheme before. Gav are you about?? That's pretty "70s" hahaha. Sorry though Neale I can't help you with your search. Have you tried a Z club in the UK? Chances are it's still in the country. It might not have the same paint job though... a VIN would be helpful if you know that?

Hard to tell from the photos, because the wrecked Z is pretty smashed up, but it sure looks like a ZX to me. The hood vents, squared edge on the fender, and front turn signal lens all look like a ZX...

I like the tutone paint on the 260Z 2+2, gives it a nice, custom look. Both of the 240's look awesome, too! Good luck with your search, I hope you find your Dad's old car!

This does not add up here man??? The smashed Z is a Black/Gold edition 280ZX and the ones you show as the "after resto pics" is a first gen 2+2 Z?????

^^ditto. smashed car and resto car are 2 diff ones. the 2-tone paint looks pretty coll tho...
