But, I'm pretty sure now that the fresh air to the lower vents come from the cowl intake. I was driving in the rain the other day, and the water was dripping out of the lower vents onto my foot. Maybe a shallow fence around the air hole would help keep the water out of the interior, and allow to drain instead.

but i've always seen fresh air ducts shown as being the underhood elbows that come off the radiator support. at $10 each used, the price is consistent with what i paid for mine. at least you can get them now without waiting for them to pop up on ebay.

No ducts on a 77-78 but I think the 75-76 does have them. So I guess it is technically correct to list them for a 240-280 but they should also list only through 76.
