Can anyone tell me what alternative brands of injectors can be used in '79 280Z. I was quoted $2000.00 from a dealer in Sydney (Gold plated maybe?).

Fuel injector service companies here in Perth tell me that there are no guarantee's with the old injectors coz they are a combination of metal and plastic. To service them costs about $38.00 each (plus tax) seals are extra. But I've problems with injectors in a 280ZX leaking and almost flooding the engine bay with spraying petrol, and this sways me away from getting the old one's cleaned.

Don't you have any mates in the States? A set in the U.S costs about $300 new.

Autozone here in the USA sells new ones (aftermarket) for about $40 each-depending on turbio or not.
