From my research, I learned that channels 1-7 are GMRS channels (FRS too). Because it has GMRS and FRS on it, does that mean you need a license to transmit to an FRS radio?

So are the GMRS channels. The FRS channels are all 267 MHz, and the GMRS channels are all 462 MHz, as are the combination FRS/GMRS channels.

In the cb channels, I think the wattage is the licensing factor-but only the FCC knows for sure!!!
