I have the coated MSA 6/1 header, MSA aluminized exhaust which comes with the Dynomax Turbo muffler. It sounds very agressive outside the car but between 2K to 3K rpm it has a serious drone/resonance which gets old quick. I am planning on having a "glasspack" added after the header collector pipe to serve as a pre-muffler. See link below.

Anyone here done this? Opinions?

ohh yeh.. tons of people have done this....

I would do a quick search on the site, but everyone complains about the resonance...

a glasspack will cure all your problems

Ordered the Dynomax Race Magnum Bullet Muffler (2.5 in & 2.5 out) 18" long unit from Summit Racing for $57 shipped to be used as a "premuffler". Should get it installed next week. Hopefully it will help cut out some of the resonance/noise in my system. I am running the coated MSA 6/1 header, MSA 2.5 " aluminized exhaust which comes with the Dynomax Turbo muffler.

I had the Dynomax Race Bullet installed today as a premuffler. It made a huge difference in the car. Took out most of the annoying boominess. It was worth every penny.
