OK here's my question to anyone who has ever installed a MSD 6AL ignition system on a L28 with a Mallory Unilite Distributor: Do I just follow the wiring diagram in the instuctions, if so will I encounter any problems or need additional parts in order to make it run correctly? The Mallory distributor is a 37 Series Breakerless / Part # 4563901. Need input!!! Vicky needs MORE HORSEPOWER!

I thought Vicky's car was the Vintage Z, or did Nissan allow L28's into those cars when they had them restored?

No, no, no Carl. Scott needs assistance with installing the MSD 6AL in his 77 280Z. No mods to Ol' Yeller. Can anybody reply with help installing MY Christmas gift on HIS car.

That is what made me think the MSD was for your car. You had said in SHOUT (or somewhere) that you were getting a MSD for Xmas.
