stripped bolts

I took off the steering wheel on the z I just got. It was an old aftermarket wheel, maybe like a grant gt? The large center bolt was loose, so i removed it. One of the three smaller bolts were loose and I took it off too. Now the problem, the other two smaller bolts were on there really tight, but i was able to take them off. The two bolts stripped the plate that the wheel bolts on to. The one that says "top" on it. Now I have two bolts with surrounded by metal, not a big problem, and that plate with two big freaking holes.

What should I do?

Can you provide a pic it's a bit hard to picture it in my head. I'm thinking it could be part of the boss kit for the wheel itself not sure. As I say a pic would help.

That plate is the adaptor to accept the after market steering wheel . Don't hold me to this but I don't think those bolt hold the wheel on Ithink they were for the horn button that never worked(99 percent positive). Get a steering wheel puller or have a car place yank it off. The only connection to the steering is the splines.

Never mind, I have fixed the problem. The thing i am talking about, is not stock, and i dont need it because I just got an original wheel. It was like an adapter for the aftermarket steering wheel.

Great!! Now the horn contact attaches on the high/low beam and rides on the back of that new wheel. If you went HUH? you may wish to run a wire to a switch to pass inspection.
