Featured Replies

4x114.3, Yep and zero. Can with stand up to about 1/2 inch offset with standard rim/tyre sizes.

one question,

looking at these wheels im given offset options of 25,35 and 43?

what one?

also what exactly is offest, I'm a mechanics guy, not a wheels guy :ermm:

i dont get the car till friday, but would like to sort out some wheels.

Edit:

Also, what width would you guys reccomend? for a 1976 260z 2-Seater

offset is how far the hub mounting surface is from the wheel center line.

Google "What is Offset"

I'd look for wheels up to 7'' wide with offset from -5 to +15

:cross-eye For all of us, common people it is 4 by 4 1/2 bolt pattern with a normal zero offset. But you can order up to 40 mil offset (front wheel drive wheel) and make it work. You just have to get wheel spacers or adapters to make it work (normal back spacing will give you, the size you need to order). I run a 16X7" rim with a 1" spacer to make it work. I do have flairs on it and they fill them up just right. So you can get almost any size and back spacing you want. Just remember to get the same size spacer as your backspacing on the wheel. Normal back spacing (max) for bigger wheels are without coilovers are 4" up front and 4 1/2" out back. With coilovers it is 4 1/2" up front and 5" out back. Hope this can help you in the future, Rich.

Go to Hybridz.org and look in their forum under wheels etc. They have a sticky that explains what offset and all the rest of it is.
