Keep in mind that the ignition key most likely opens the glove box as well...

Im not really concern about the glove box lock as I dont even lock it or it is fairly easy to open anyway.

I forgot all about the ignition barrel that I bought from Ebay, so I tried that yesterday to see if similar size from the right side/outside it looks similar

wiring loom/plug is the same so tried connecting it and starts

now I just hope it fits on the steering wheel shaft?

the ignition lock was brand spanking new listed for MQ Patrol or 120Y

I tried swapping the ignition barrel this afternoon but no luck

MQ Patrol / 120Y Ignition Lock doesnt fit the 240K steering column

the diametre is smaller but the same plug connectors

So might take the lock to a locksmith to rekey

can I take the ignition lock to ANY locksmith? or does it have to be car specialist locksmith?
