Just wondering how much is a reasonable price for L28 flattop pistons(used) in Australia ?

Now, I'm no expert on 260Z's or 280ZX's (let alone 280Z's, which we didn't get in Australia), but I didn't think we ever got the L28 with flat tops. 260Z had the L26 and 280ZX had fuel injection.

Correct me if I'm wrong.......?

I was quoted $600 for a set of new flat top pistons for the L28, but I didn't lok extremely hard. I couldn't get a price from nissan because I didn't know the part No. but one of the Z car shops was able to give me a price.

AFAIK they were not in Australia. I just happened upon a set a while ago and not sure If I am going to use them anymore....

I've seen nissan patrol's with flat tops in em. The earlier models came out with L28's!

We stopped getting Patrols in the US before the L28 came out. What year Patrols had the L28?

Not sure exactly, we still get Patrols in Australia, but from memory the early 80's had L28's, might even be some of the earlier models.
