for 72 240z is there a choice of bilstein or koni and where do i get best price? does this forum ever do group purchase? any other mods necessary if i make the shock change? thx

I have been searching for Bilstein Strut Cartridges for my 1972 240Z for 4 years, and according to every distributor I've found and the Bilstein Website , they are no longer available.

If you find a place that has them, left me know!

It really depends on the application that you require.

I've used Koni in the rally car and found them wanting.

Bilsteins have been rallied successfully for many years.

Many people use Koni's for track purposes and are happy,

so you will need to consider what use you intend.

Personally, I would go for an air shock.
