hi, just like to know what badges a 4/76 260 2+2 should have, have seen 'restorezone' site

i only have the badges behind the rear windows

On US models there is a round hood badge, a Datsun emblem on each front fender, a badge behind each 1/4 window and on the hatch it should have 2 badges. One says Datsun and one for the model. Some of the later 280's had a 5 speed emblem on the hatch instead of the model badge I believe. Not sure about cars other than the US spec cars, hope this is an answer to your question.

thanks 2mzs, gives me more of an idea what im looking for, the oz models seem to have a '260Z' emblem on the fron quarters, this sounds as thought its different to the us models.

In aus not all cars had the hood emblem but could be added if desired.

Front fenders have 260z on lower portion, the two round badges behind the quarters with Z inside, and on the tailgate there should be Datsun badge on drivers side (RH) and trans type on left side, either Full Automatic or 5 Speed.
