  1. Glassguy, You're absolutely right. There is no need to change the pedal box. The mount for the clutch pedal is already on your vehicle. Just swap out manual pedals for the correct line up, remove the cover on the firewall for the clutch master cylinder and start bolting up. The larger cutout for the manual trans is already in the tunnel. All you have to do is cut out the panel that was spot welded in at the factory for the automatic transmission. Good luck on the swap.

    E85

Big rubber gasket in the mechanical pump. I'm running an electric pump but I'm sure there is rubber in there somewhere. I would think the steel fuel tank, needle and seat assembly at the float, and the nozzle would be the main obstacles. I've noticed a couple of companies building E85 capable 4150 Holley carburetors. It would be neat if someone(Bruce) made an E85 Hitachi.

    E85

Has anyone thought of setting up SU's to run E85? Is it even possible? Would the nozzle be the only issue? Just curious..

    BD or MSA

Has anyone tried the new kits from Vintage Rubber ? Les speaks very highly of them and their website gives indication that they are serious about their product and are not afraid to stand behind it.
