Looking for engine L24-063102
I love these international exchanges of ideas, I know they are all in good fun in the end, afterall we are just talking about automobiles here. An infamous American once said after a court case that involved his beating came to an unpopular ending thus causing the LA Riots: "Can't we all just get along?" I really enjoy reading posts from Carl, Alan and Kats, they give me prospective on some the the history of the car I love. I don't really see any reason for someone to get upset when the other does not agree, again we are only talking about a car here. Like I alway told my kids: "someone has to be the bigger person and take the high road". Here's hoping that Goon locates his motor and everyone will be happy. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Check out this all original '73 on fleaBay
Love the car Jim, It looks great. I own a 105k miles 73 automatic so I have something to compare it to. I hope it goes to a good home, good luck with the auction.

At it is current bid this car is a steal. The reserve is off. A beautiful car, I wish I had few extra bucks laying around I would be in the hunt for it.

"Yes we did!" It's finally over!
I did not find anything historic about yesterday...just another day, I still attended my Z club meeting like I do every first Tuesday of the month....nothing historic there.

Whatever....I am here to get away from this kind of crap. I don't think this is the place for it.

Rear Spoiler
So a spoiler with the ribs and flat spot is a "PZR" or "432R"? I have one I picked up when I was stationed in Japan and want to know what to call it. I plan to someday fit it my 73 but until I do I just keep up in the rafters of the garage. I always wondered what to call it...I knew it was not a BRE.

Interior Panels
I got a set of "off" white from Classic Datsun, they are outstanding. If you getting black they will be perfect, since all sets start out as black.

Aloha!!
What's your car's condition and what are your goals? What project are you taking up in order to get the car going and what do you want to learn about it? Use the search tab to find out some of the answers to your questions. I am sure you have one of the only 260Z on the big island so local parts are not an option.

Another Dumb Question...are they 71's or 72's
Looks like you need a new set of carbs. All your problems are now easy to see. Get a set the right SUs sent them to Ztherapy to be rebuild, intall them in your car and you will be very happy...price should be not concern here because a proper working carb set it a value at any price. Stay away from the night life in Tumon, Club USA, the Viking Tavern, etc... for a weekend or two and you will have enough money to get the new carbs.

Another Dumb Question...are they 71's or 72's
Should have bought your SU kit from Ztherapy.... I lived on Guam for 8 years in the 90s so I know what you are talking about. Don't let anyone there touch your car.

Jccs!
Looking forward to it....should be a great event as always. Going as a spectator only, maybe I will enter a car next year.

Brembo Aluminum Drums are NLA
I got two sets brand new in the box in the Brembo boxes in the garage. I almost put them up for sale a few months ago thinking I can get more later...good thing I was too lazy.

I have been to both Bahrain and Dubai U.A.E, I have always had a great time. The guy from Bahrain was named BuDavid. He sold his Z so he has not be around for some time now.

Emblem Location on Rear BRE Spoiler? _ Poll
Does your spoiler have the flat spot on it? Most reproductions I have seen do not have the flat spot. I believe Chris has the answer I agree with.

Window Channel issue?
Patient "doctor it hurts when I do this" Doctor "then stop doing that"....it is no different when you own an old car. If the window gives you a hard time at high speed then slow down roll it up and get back to speed.

1970's original Key Blank(oval top)
Snake is getting railroaded. Give him a warning, it is the right thing to do for now. I have sold a few items to a certain person in Texas and have had no problems with him as a seller. Sure he got the items at a good price and now relisting them for more, but who am I to complain about that, I just wanted the items out the garage. $100 for a key, I have a complete lock set what would that go for....just kidding about the "what would it go for" thing. I think I still have 3 or 4 lock sets. I sold a set for a 280ZX with the matching gas cap to the Prez of my club for $120....he lucked out.

4th Japanese Classic Car Show, waiting for you!
$5.00 is not bad...free is better but it was $10 at the Queen Mary. Nissan is missing out... You guys do a great job and I am sure at the new location it will only be better.

4th Japanese Classic Car Show, waiting for you!
Is the parking free now? I next MSA this is my favorite show....it might over take MSA for me this year. It is real nice seeing all the great cars, Jay Leno, and diverse Vendors. The Queen Mary spot was awesome, but it not the place, it is the cars that I come for. Maybe this year I will display something....mmm....my JDM widebody will not be ready but I might have a car that will be.

Engine Harness
$70 an hour for rebuilding the harness, sometimes he has completed harnesses for sale. I know he is expensive. It is just an option.
