Do I have to install coilovers and spacers?:knockedou Sorry I know that asked for a stock but in case I want to go for fatty ones.

How much power......
How much power can I get from a L24 engine E88 head. (the most for street you can get) I decided to install pacceseter headers 6 to 2 to 1. Crane XR 3000 ignition system and PS91 E Core coil. The distibutor is a Mallory unilite. Im also looking for a good cam but the stock one for the moment. Read in another post that the crane and the stage III from Motorsport Auto aren´t the best so I need to look for a good one first. The carbs are SU. And the exhaust system is Monza. Thanx:)

Orange problemo
Hi samzhot240. Why don´t You give a try using adhesive vinyl first. If the car is not painted you gan get all colors in vinyl film so you can give a try this way. hope it works for You. My idea is because I have a plotter cutter:). my 2 Cents.

restoring
Hi ZSaint. Thank You for the input. The first time I saw this car was 20 years ago. Today the same person(owner); now my business partner. Call me to go to his place and then:) realized that I was in love. The same red Z car (what a shame) that I used to love (20 years ago) dustyrusty:mad: totally forgot. As simple as no car wash in 10 YEARS:cry: He´s very weird guy so I been asking him for the car for at least 4 months after that day HOW MUCH:angry:  , hehehehe. And he never said anything. One day he told me pick up the car but have to look for the key he said.......(Of course for $1400. The engine was only 31,900K. He never use to much the car after he bought it, but forgot her very fast because a lack of money and having a second car so that was the excuse; and as all we know what happen if a car is not store in the best place. Rusted everywhere. Two weeks later Haleluya the ignition key. Neccesary because of the place where the car was (no space for towing) and neccesary to turn the steering wheel to be able to pull the car..... 3 hours later the car was in my garage... Day 2 bought some cheap tires around $30 bucks just to be able to move the car the old ones were:knockedou .after more than a decade forgot:hurt: . Day 3 I start with the paint remover and sand paper to be clear with what I was dealing (lots of rust, as You can see it in the pictures posted). One week later she was at the body shop. Now I have 3 weeks without seeing her. Floor pans, under floor frame rails, firewall, dog legs, quarter panels, battery tray and rocker panels been fixed by that time. Turn lights holes and gas door are going to dissapear. I think the doors must be ready and also the rear of the car. (my friend is in the United States so Im waiting for him to go and visit her). The hatch is totally rusted so I NEED TO BUY ONE, also the radiator core support is in bad shape and of course need to buy new one or used. The other panels like fenders, hood are in good shape. Well its all I can say so gonna keep posting pictures. These cars are amazing. ThanK You. BTW I love the BLUE color You use to paint You car simply lovely.

E31 vs E88 vs N42
I have an L24 engine (E88). From what I read it's not the best engine to swap. But this is the engine I have, so I decided to add some: headers and exhaust system by Monza, ignition sist. its a crane XR3000 with crane ps91 e-core coil, (like to know if the best distributor for this sist must be the Mallory UNILITE electronic). Im also planning to change camshaft (factory one) for a Performance Camshaft, Stage III, 70-83 (from the Z store) The specs are "Grind: 17034. Lift(In/Ex): .460/.460. Duration(In/Ex): 270/280. Characteristics: Rougher idle, excellent performance. Pulls hard from 3000-6500 RPM." For now Im going to use the SU carbs but going after($$$) for a Weber Triple Carburetor Kit, 40 DCOE. Please help me with the info on distributor and what do You think on this engine swap. Bad trip the trany its a manual 4 speed and R180 (I would like to change it for 5 speed and a R200, but dont have the money for that now, so later will be if can not sure if L24 can use a 5 speed trany. Streets here in Panama are short but sometimes I like to drive to the beach that is 50 miles from home, so like to go kind of fast. What Im looking is to have a very fast street car; is this ok for what Im looking for? My first Z and I know this forum is full of people that really know about this beautiful girls so all comments are welcome. Thank You for your help.
