Here's the Z without the DB9 front. I will work on some better drawings if everyone likes the idea. It will probably take more time than I wish to think about to fabricate, but winter is coming and what else is ther to do but make something new for my Zcar.

This is a very rough draft, but I think it has to be done. The front of the Aston Martin DB9 is too sexy and too much like a Z not to do it. I like the look of the fron of the original 240Z. I also like the look of an air dam. And I like the look of the G-nose. So why not fabricate a fiberglass DB9 front and put it on a Z. What do you think?

Thanks for the offer Stephen. I guess I need to check to see if I need 3 wire or 4 wire relay. I will get back in touch. Mark

Gary, It is interesting to follow your troubleshooting. I on the otherhand, found that there was no problem with my switch, no problem with my motor. Although I bought a new switch and a Honda motor. On LOW speed I could get the fan to turn on for a short period of time. After a few minutes, or if I turned the switch to MED or HIGH, the in-line fuse would blow. I got fed up with it all, and just left it alone. I would like to fix it one day, and will follow this thread incase someone has a great idea for me. Maybe I'll take a ride over to the west side of town and try to get Mike W to fix it for me. Thanks, Mark
  5. Mike got it right on the money. He changed his interior colour to grey using the SEM vinyl dye. It looked so good I sprayed mine with the original black colour. Mine look like brand new. No reason to spend hundreds on something that can be fixed easy. Save that money for bigger and better things. I also fixed a few cracks with a little fiberglass on the backside of my panels. Mark
  6. I will be there on Saturday. White 71' 240z --- Engine and Interior are great -- Body still has rust and paint issues.....

This is where the vinyl runners go. There is one for both sides of the car.

All models as far as I know. Unless your 78 had carpet that went all the way up the the bottom of the door frame.

  18. sorry bro, want me to refund the difference? What did you think? they look good don't they? I'm thinking about doing some kick panels as well as the inside back panels. Although I used the Vinyl paint on all of my interior panels and they look like brand new. Mark

  20. Duffman pointed out that for some reason Paypal was not adding in my $5 shipping fee. I could not figure out how to rectify that problem, so I simply changed the price to $30 with no shipping fee's Please feel free to ask any questions. If you are un-satisfied with these runners, I will let you return them and I will refund your money.
  21. Hey guys, I listed these on the classified section a few weeks ago and never got any response. I know this is something you all can make yourself, but some times people have more money than time so I have cut them out for you. I am selling them on Ebay for $35 and they are selling pretty well. I am only asking $25 for a pair here. Check them out and tell me what you think. http://www.classiczcars.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=1312&cat=4

I've restored two steering wheels. I found it easier to use a Dremel tool to sand down most of the spokes. I have one of them for sale in the classified section. Here are some pictures of it.
  23. It is the real thing. I think the company that makes the watch is The American Watch Company. I only have the one watch, but I will try to get more if you guys want to get one. 26th was right, nobody really knows what it is but a Zcar owner. If you wear something like this to a Zclub meet, it will definatly get noticed. I don't think I would sell this one, or not at an affordable price anyway. Again, I will try to get my hands on some more if the interest is there. What would you be willing to pay for one? Mark
  24. Stop and start. Thats funny. The clock on my 71' 240z worked like a champ from the day I bought the car. I had to tow the car home when I bought it, and it took me a year to get it in drivable condition, but the clock worked. However, I thought it would be cool looking to put white guage faces on. (I have a white Z so it does kinda look cool even though I bastardised my car) but I digress; Everything was going well until I tried to put the little hands back on the clock. They didn't want to go back on so easy and by the time I got them on and pluged the clock back up.... my clock no work no more .
  25. I think this is the coolest. What about you?
