2008 Midwest Z Heritage Fest June 6-8
Counterpoint to that is to bring in owners of more current Nissan products back to the Z family. Not sure anyone makes money, money, money on car shows (at least they don't up here...well, maybe the hotdog guy...). The Ontario Z club was very inclusive, we had active members from early 240Z's right to G35 coupes. All admirers of performance and solid styling. They all had a twinkle in their eye when we rolled in in our S30's mind you... Right back at ya... Mike A.

72 240Z owner getting back into Z-cars
Always good to have a Montreal area dyno guy join the board. I think we met at last month's club meeting. Good to have you aboard.

Clunking from rear area when moving around
Do a search on this as the topic is common and well dicussed. Most likely front differential mount.

Newbie here
Pretty simple...tell her the old car is making her look old... Not the nicest way to manipulate dear old ma...but it'll be effective...(don't count on Sunday dinner).

You guys North of me won't be happy...
The bad news...in front of those trucks is a massive circular driveway... The good news...I have a great snow removal guy ($250 for the year)... The better news...he's so proficient, he comes between 4:00 - 5:30 a.m. on workdays to make sure we can get out... The bad news...at that time of day, the trucks are parked exactly where you see them (garage seems to be filled with Z's and horsie stuff)... The excrutiating news...I've had to hand dig the trucks out of those snow banks out a half dozen times this year already (bloody record snowfall)... Can't wait for the warmth and sunshine...

Does anyone play hockey here?
3-5 times a week. Big bruising defenseman. Not too many people mess with me or my goalie... My little brother plays for the Calgary Flames.

You guys North of me won't be happy...
Zak...moved to Rigaud just outside Montreal...just in time for a record snowfall year...completely different than TO. Check out the Tahoe and the Sequoia in front of the garage after one dump... The guys in the Z club say our season is 3-4 weeks shorter than Toronto...damn...

You guys North of me won't be happy...
Hey Randy, Just for the counterpoint. Here are a couple of shots of downtown Disraeli, Quebec. I was sitting in the local pizzeria having lunch after a hockey game when I read your post. These shots are when I walked out the front door from my pizza in disgust. Hence the minor hate  and the major slashing a guy took the next game :stupid:. Doesn't help that i've had to dig my 4x4 Tahoe out from getting stuck in the snow twice in the last month. On that point, the wife said she could learn to appreciate country music. Prepare the extra room. We move in next week. ROFLROFLROFL

newbie here... here's my 240z...
Depending how heavy that body kit is, a 1972 body (light) with a well-tuned L28 with dialed-in Mikuni's shouldn't feel "dog slow". I guess is also depends on what Honda you are comparing it to...NSX?

My Z was used in a movie.
Ya. A guy who lent his car for a movie and got rooked...

240z in Europe
The joy of being Canadian...access to Z parts and everyone loves us... As for the Z as an everyday driver: 1. They don't like the snow. 2. They are relatively simple cars and easy to maintain. 3. A well-maintained Z car is exceptionally reliablem 4. Distance to parts is a problem if it is your only set of wheels. If you are considering buying, do a search on common problems as it will give you a good guide on what to look for. Welcome aboard.

newbie here... here's my 240z...
Actually, I disagree with that completely. If you want orignal, sell this and buy original. There is value in a body in seemingly good shape (assuming no massive rot underneath). Realize that value and move on. If not, get this puppy up and running and have some fun.

newbie here... here's my 240z...
Not my cup of tea, but the she looks solid until you get under the hood. Then I'm not sure if she's just dirty or needs work. For swaps and more intricate engine mod's you may want to check out hybridz.

For Valentine's Day, I bought myself an Infiniti
Sweet. I had a 2000 Maxima as a company car and loved it. Bought it out and gave it to my dad. It's coming up on 200,000 km's now and still rolling strong. Have fun.

'72 240Z w/ "Ragtop" sunroof on Seattle Craigslist
Not crazy about the "Euro"? style ragtop, but she looks reasonably clean for $1,500 (even if you do need to swap in the L28). Might be a nice pickup. Snap her up Dave.

another low number car for sale
I'm pretty that puppy must be worth at least $60k by now...might fetch top-dollar at the next RM gala...
