I am new to the website and posting questions..... I rebuilt my engine about 12 years ago and now only have about 36,000 miles on the rebuild. However, I am thinking about having the engine (top end) primarily redone and everything replace, harnesses, injectors, throttle body, water pump, oil, alternator, rework the head, hone the intake to clean the fuel flow, increase the exhaust from the 1.5 inch to 2 to 2.5 if possible, and all the stuff that needs to shine to look good. Does anyone know of a real good engine shop in the E. Bay area of San Francisco to go to? I live in the Martinez, Concord area and looking for some good and reasonable in price. thoughts!
