  1. Well after more than four months of body and paint I finally got my Z back today. It looks amazing. I went with a multicoat (5 total) single stage paint. This paint would put a Porsche to shame. I am so happy with the way it turned out. Check out the photos on my website. They really dont do it justice. I am going to take the next year to reassemble and hopefully have it ready for the Z car nationals in Orange County next year. http://66.155.22.117/paintedZ.htm Enjoy.
  2. There ought to be a law against mutalating a Z. Some people just dont know when to stop going to Pep Boys. Here is another example of a hideous Z for sale on Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2410547796&category=6187 Attached is a quick snap shot.

  5. If you are not already set up with Paypal then you can just mail me a money order or cashiers check. I need to figure the shipping first. Mark
  6. Reason for selling is that I bought them first and shortly after I got a good deal on a set of Tokico Illumina shocks that came with the springs. So I dont need two set of springs. I decided to go with the Tokico because they are better matched to the shocks. You can send me the money thru Paypal. If you give me your zip code I can calculate shipping. Mark
  7. $279.95 plus tax from Motorsport. These have never been out of the box.
  8. This is brand new in box. Purchased for my 70Z. Should fit others but you should check to see. $195 plus shipping.
  9. I am surprised he didnt add the little chain steering wheel. The funny thing is this guy wants 11k for this car.
  10. JUST SAW THIS CAR ON EBAY. SOME PEOPLE HAVE NO TASTE. SORRY
  11. Thanks for the complement. I can tell you, as so can many others, that this type of project requires the dedication of a lot of hours and money. Like any other car restoration, you will probably spend more money than the car is worth to someone else but you will enjoy more than anyone. The website is a great way to document your efforts and share it with fellow Z lovers. Will send new messages as the website changes.
  12. With every good work in progress there should be a website to document the progression of your efforts. I have now launched my own website documenting the restoration project on my 1970Z. Feel free to check it out at www.my70z.com Mark
  13. After a couple of tries I gave up. My local Napa Auto has a independant machine shop behind it. I gave them to to him yesterday and he is going to pull them for me. "Dont try this at home, folks"
  14. I have been rapping on either side and they wont budge. I have drenched in Liquid Wrench and even pulled off the plastic ring that goes around the inside. I have been hammering away with no luck. Any more suggestions. :stupid:
