i now know the proper term for the bent "track". it is the regulator. it is fubard and bent. i dont see how it is possible working through the holes! anyone want to come do it for me! i will need a new regulator for sure

you wont confuse me, im not a newbie in the car world. it is efi though i have extensive experience in rotaries (87 rx7 turbo) that ive done everything with pretty much. the car had been sitting for a long time, i just bought it. i put in injector cleaner, filled it up with super, changed the oil/filter. plug wires look pretty new. but, not sure on the plugs. it will go past 3k, it just shudders, and i just step on the gas and it goes through it and power is back to normal. sounds like ignition (i hope)

i was trying to adj the window on the track that is not right (p.o) issue i guess. the track looks bent so i cant put the wheels back on the rails . i obviously cant take the panel off because it is spot welded. now the window is just sitting there freely off the tracks! i lifted the window up and jammed something to keep it shut for now. any suggestions on how to get this fixed? i want to be able to roll down my darn windows! i dont think they sell the track sliders or do they?...and seems it might be easier to pick up another door any help would be appreciated. thanks ~B

well the door hinge that is mounted on body is fine. it is the peice on the door that doesnt latch on to that hinge. maybe i just need to tear it down or something when i lift up on the door handle, it doesnt move. i have to just pull out for the door to open.

i was thinking about getting the energy suspension hyper flex master set for 140. i guess i could just take them off and bring em to a shop...but, not too familiar with this cars suspension yet. i will need to study.

nope need teh drivers. the darn door flies open on tight turns!

what is the typical labor costs for bushing replacement?

what is the recommended blaster coil to use for a stock replacement. msa has a bunch on thier site. then thier is the msd blaster coil. do these all just bolt in and go? anything special needed? thx

just got a 75 280z. it has been sitting for a few years. but it has been started etc to keep it not seized. the car seems to have nice power..it idles perfectly at 800rpms, but during a certain point when driving it will hit a wall and you have to floor it to get passed the hurdle then it drives fine. any ideas? seems like also it hits at a certain rpm i think its in the 3k band. any feedback? thanks ~B

i just got a z, needs some work its a 75 280z. i notice when i hit bumps, the suspension makes a jingle bell sound ...like something is loose. something also makes the car pull to the right a tad..hopefully it is just a alignment fix. any feedback? thanks
