Mainling lists, arent for me. I prefer forums, and this is the best Z forum I know of. Didn't Mike arrange something with the IZCC so that when you signed up here you got a IZCC number. I recall being told I had a IZCC number because I was a members here, but have never tried to join the IZCC. I cant find anywhere that tells me my number now though. Or maybe that was a CZCC number? They are in the USA, 240z's are common and easily replaced.

I think if you open up the diff you can tell if its lsd or not. If its a LSD R200 it would be worth putting it in the S30.

I'm jumping on the "Dont sell it" bandwagon. Do you need to sell it? Maybe you could store it at your parents house? If you cancel the rego, it will cost you nothing. Maybe you could take it to Melbounre with you? What if the job doesn't work out, and you end up back in Queensland? Keep the car for now, go work in Melbourne, and decide in 6 months from now. You might feel differently then. If you need the money for the move, then get a loan. You can always earn more money, but where can you find another K like yours to replace it, if you decide you want it back?

Someone makes them. Remember the Blue 240K that got sold to a p plater on here, then he started complaining about it being a "death trap". He re-sold it again, but when he sold it it had a a F/G bonnet, as aparently the metal one was so rusty. So someone must make one.

How are you going to block up the holes underneath the manifold? Would have been easier to get a N42 Non EGR intake manifold off Ebay usa. No egr valve, no webbing, no welding up holes.

Vlad, Check you fuel filter (drivers side) You should be able to tell if its got fuel in it. If not, you will have to crank the engine continously for a while untill the pump sucks enough fuel into the carbies for it to start. If its got fuel and it still wont start, it might be blocked, like the other guys said.

Fuel filter is on the drivers side, and if you car has the Stock SU carbies there are no "Jets" and jiggling the dashpot damper up and down will only tell you if you have oil in the dash pot, which it should.

I just use one of the ones that bolts to the terminal, then the lead bolts to the other end, and you just unscrew the knob to open circuit the connection. No drilling and mounting brackets, extra wires etc. Simple enough if you aren't going to be using the car very often.
