The Spring is hanging from the small hook between the cable brackets. There just doesn't seem to any place on the cable assembly to hook the spring onto.
Does any one know where other end of this spring is supposed to attach to? There is no mention of it in the Hayes manual, but it does show up in the Victoria British catalog. When I took it off it was wraped around the trunnion bolt, but it didn't seem to be doing anything. Any help would be appreciated Vince http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=11937
My 77 280Z seems to sit higher in the front (nose up in the air). Car was disassembled and 90% put back together by someone else. I don't know if the front is too high or if the back has been lowered. It has stock steel rims and hubcabs with standard size tires. I've measured 66.5cm to the inside of the wheel arch in the rear and 71cm in the front. Does any one have any idea what the original numbers would be? I'd like to bring the front down but don't know if I need stock springs or shorter one? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
