  5. Thank you Chris, Mike and Lance. I think I will paint the "Yuasa" text and the caps in yellow Yes Chris, it is a 1:12 ZG model I am making (but not die-cast, Prox). Very high level of detail as you can see! I made a few mistakes with the engine though, I'm not very happy with some of it. Disappointingly, there are no stickers included in the kit - at all. That just means I have to paint on all the labels and decals (ugh) such as the oil filter and the battery. I haven't done the air filter yet. Very nice kit otherwise! Thanks guys again for the great response
  6. Thankyou Chris! Would you happen to know what colours the battery is? I believe it was black, but what about the YUASA text etc.? (here is a picture of the engine!)
  7. Hello, I am still making that 240ZG model but am having trouble finding a picture of an original battery. The closest I got was a thread by kats ( http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13095&page=1 ) but still no dice. Does anyone know what they looked like, or even better have a picture of one? I would much appreciate it

the caption above the picture on the bottom of the first page: "Looks like you got to it a bit late. My friend was over there, and had pics of the car with the brake calipers and other stuff on it. He said that soldiers were taking pretty much everything that said ferrari on it. He told me that he's got that piece that sits on top of the intake manifold." Ed, I wonder how much it would cost to restore it? It might end up not worth it!! If you look on page 2 there is a small picture of his 993 and Testarossa. They have been spared it seems.

That sounds like the silver one with a 747 wing on the rear of it. He was a member here a while ago. 240z5ltr -> http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=6010

Silviaaaaaaa That's what I'd buy from my interpretation of the criteria... A Corolla like George said you couldn't go wrong with. But personally I wouldnt call it "dynamically superior". It's pretty subjective though innit

That's funny, I started a similarly named thread at a different forum - with the same car as the point of interest. Check it out http://www.oldschool.co.nz/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=1177&start=0
  17. Hey well I think it's pretty cool! Nice, unique idea coastie.
  18. I picked this up when constructing my Tamiya model kit. I was thinking "cheap bastards! these two arms are exactly the same just flipped!" until I did a bit more research (thanks kats) Clever idea huh?
