What do you think of the new 350 z?
That's more like what I'd have made the lights look... I can't believe how much better the car looks since Mr. Camo got rid of the long back end!! I think Nissan should just hire us to design the new Z

Remind you of something?
This is the new prototype Pontiac Solstice Coupe, but to me it smells of 240Z... <img src="http://209.132.49.149/images-large/2002_pontiac_solstice_coupe-3.jpg" width="400" height = "250"> Especially take note of the window shape, and the tail lights which reek 350Z. That subtle hump over the rear quarter is absolutely Z too. They've even got the chopped off back end just like the original. What is your opinion?

Are You Selling A Z In Sydney?
I'm coming down from the Gold Coast on Sunday the 20th, buying one Monday, and driving it back up. If you own a 240Z or a 260Z (2 seater or 2+2) and want to sell it, please email me (alfadog@bigpond.net.au) or ring at (07)55279002. I'm looking at something between $5000 to $8500. Be quick..

my RUST FREE baby 1973 240
Well here's one like you want... looks pretty good although I think blue with white stripes isn't a terribly original scheme either

Early 1974 260Z For Sale
You know, some people wanting to buy your car will appreciate that very detailed picture. However, it IS a little big. It'd probably be better in future to post a link to the picture, warning people about how big it is. Some people only have reasonably humble Internet speeds, and may become disgruntled for having to wait so long for what they might consider to be a picture with too much detail. Not trying to be a git, just pointing something out to you. It's this little thing called netiquette (cool eh?)

My New '71 240z
I'd suggest getting a couple of new covers, as it's only going to increase the value of the car if you ever sell it (as if!)
-
man what a story!!
That'd look pretty mean, but the real question is are they really connected? Are there any other mods? Can't wait to see some pics!

My New '71 240z

WANTED: 240Z/260Z in Australia
Mike, yeah it's about 53c I think... The market isn't bad, but I've looked everywhere for the last month at least and I've come across a very curious situation. I have found NO decent Z's in Queensland, but there are several in other states (mainly NSW and Victoria). It's much hotter up here, so that might have something to do with it. In real life I've only actually seen 4 different 240/260 Zs that I can remember. Decoy Zed, thanks a heap I'll be sure to give him a ring as I live on the Gold Coast.. Oh and while I'm at it, how is the market like in New Zealand? I'm going over there next week and if I find one cheap enough I might even import it... I doubt they could get any cheaper but it's worth a look.

My New '71 240z
Yeah my guess would be they've at some stage retrimmed the seats.. the early Zs I believe had particularly... wearable seats. She's great though.. just need to buy a few badges

What do you think of the new 350 z?
Personally, I think it should have looked more like the 240Z than the 300ZX... where's the muscle? It just looks fat... What I dislike most about it though is the tail lights. Maybe they'll look nicer in real life, but from the pictures I've seen they just look like some apprentice car designer has stuck on some "futuristic" red over half of the car. I'm disappointed. Nissan has some stylish cars (e.g. Silvia) and some very muscular cars (e.g. Skyline) but they only seemed to use the stuff from the latter with the 350. Can't do much about it now though... here's to the 400Z heh

How much did you pick her up for? It certainly looks very clen and original from here... Those wheels are great though I agree - usually 4 spokes are awful but they're very nice
