  1. Can someone post close-up shots of what the "right" wipers look like? I'm interested to know if I've got them or not That money is insane... concours restorers only.
  2. http://s-garage.hp.infoseek.co.jp/gaisou1.htm The Z mirrors are 25,000 yen, about 210 USD... then you have to get them to America
  3. I just replaced my old BOB JANE rear 205's with Khumo 'Powermax 769' 215/70s. I only drive on the street and haven't driven much since I got them, but compared to the old Bob Jane cheapest-thing-you-can-get tyre, they're awesome. So bloody sticky, you won't get the rearend of the car out unless you try very hard, even in the wet. They're utterly fantastic. Now I'm not afraid of driving in the wet! (the old tyres were like trying to drive on an oil slick...

I think they look totally ugly on a Z  They're big, round and have no edges on them, unlike a Z which is designed with crisp, well defined lines. But if you like 'em, go for it!

Yea, that's what I'm talking about too. I thought they were bump strips so that if something large and square bumped into you it wouldn't damage your paint work?

This is an accidental topic post. He probably clicked the submit button by accident before he typed in the whole message, which is in another topic by the same thread name. Mike can delete this thread if this is the case.

DOHC are you a salesman by trade?? ROFL
  18. I've got a cover on the Z steering wheel at the moment too, so that would make it even thicker...

The R33 Skyline wasn't exactly "cutting-edge" in the styling department............ pretty bland really. "Sports car design" - whether that means the actual design of the look of the car, or the design of the car as a whole is debatable...
  20. It is a nice steering wheel.. classic style rather than performance no-nonsense style as the Z wheel is... maybe a bit big though
  21. Does it perhaps look like this: http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=3216&papass=&sort=1&thecat=500 Then, it's a 240K steering wheel!

Decorative?? Youre talking about those fat rubber shopping-centre-parking-lot strips that run down the bodywork of the car, making it look like a granny drives it? No thanks! Leave them off!!!

Alan, damn, your radar never ceases to amaze... Another thought - my previous owner told me (and I believe him as it seems pretty logical) that the light beams get a bit messed up going through the covers, and as a result the actual light that hits the road is even dimmer than it should be. The effect is minimal, so I just leave mine on. I drive mostly in the city at night anyway. How true this is I dont know... but it seems reasonable enough. If the covers weren't so tricky to remove and put back on I might be inclined to do an experiment! :beard: (that smily has the be the most un-used smily ever...... unlike that one!)

How deep can a deep dish be? Not to my tastes, just a little over-done in every way...
