By the way my barely used KYB's struts are for sell in the classifieds. Let me know if anyone wants them. I have the OEM springs I don't need either. Make me an offer.

Got the Eibachs, Tokico HP's & strut tower bar installed today. I think the drop is just right. I'll try to get some pics this weekend. Ride is good with less body roll.

I think dealers can still order OEM fenders.

FWIW my parts got here yesterday. Great price and service from Sal at MSA. The Eibach kit # is 6303-140. The front springs (numbers end in 1) are linear & shorter then the rears (end with 2) which are progressive & taller. Should have them installed early next week.

I saw it last night Mike. Your Z looked sweet! I need to try to make this event this year. I am only an 1.5 hours away.

I agree Mike. Much as I hate to take out the new KYB's I decided I have gone this far I may as well do it right. I will be reselling the basically new KYB's soon as the swap is done. Anybody want them for $90 plus actual shipping?

Just a heads up for those of you who want to drop your 280Z 1" and keep a decent ride MSA has the Eibach 280Z spring kits. I know I have seen it mentioned the Eibach's weren't available for the 280Z anymore. Sal says they bought what was left of Eibach's supply. MSA pricing is good too. Per Blue's chart the front springs are linear & only the rears are progressive. The rates are very similar for all the different brands. I bought Tokico HP's to run with these springs as well. Per the chart below. Eibach from Nissan Motorsports or Motorsports Auto 183 lbs/in front, 154/212 lbs/in rear "progressive rate") I consulted with Katman & Sal. Sal with MSA agreed the KYB's would wear out sooner with a more agressive lowering spring. I think I'll run the KYB's as is for awhile since they are new. My goal is to lose the gap while having a good handling while decent riding Z.

Yea I have the Eibach/Tokico HP combo on my '71 240Z and it works well. Probably wait till the KYB's wear out and swap them out.

Now that I've added the 15 x 7 Panasports & 205/60HR15 tires I am thinking of dropping the car 1"-1.5". I have new KYB's (361002/361003's). What springs would you recommend to accomplish this? ST, Arizona Z, MSA? The KYB's say not to use a lowering spring.....I don't want a bone crusher ride and don't plan on replacing the shocks. Recommendations?
