    I realize this is an old thread. But I signed up and got an account here just to continue it, because it is the most comprehensive I’ve seen on any of these sites. The cable controlled heater valve on a 77 280 Z looks an awful lot like the one ipdusa.com sells for volvo pv/amazon cars, including a capillary tube for $160 if anybody’s interested. https://www.ipdusa.com/products/7482/Heater-Control-Valve-PV-Amazon-MTC-171404-Volvo-673452.
