working on reducing the resistance at the moment tool box distorts when trying to close need more flex going to try printing something like a piano hinge and running a thin steel rod to hold the 2 sections together Nick

Hello again Print came out pretty good petg combined with tpu bond seem solid There is a bit of resistance when folding will have to fit to the tool box to see if ok Have opened/closed hinge more times than it would normally so is holding up well Just need to find some barrel screws and can test on car Couldn't done this without you help Thank you Nick

A suburb response Thank you all It looks like the hinge is made from a single material I can't tell from the pictures how rigid the material is? It looks like it has a degree of flex? Im thinking of using pla and then merging tpu for the hinge. I guess one could go for years never having to open the box so as long as it holds together to be fitted it should be ok!!
