SunStar make a very nice 240Z diecast with working steering, opening doors bonnet etc. the engine parts are there alt, carbs, etc. My brother bought a black one, there's also a orange and a silver one, no green sorry, but definately a nice example. http://www.sunstartoys.com/3501_Datsun/3501.htm Those images aren't the best but in person it looks great. having said that though, I havent seen a Kyosho one so they could be better. -
as far as the red on the left side of the vehicle is conerned, take a look at the colour of the car beside the Z, just the reflection. sad site though, still... I'll have it.

I'm not sure, I had to hold the rusted bonnet up with one hand whilst trying to photo things, there was no bonnet stay and I couldn't put anything decent anywhere to prop it up without the bonnet folding due to the large amount of rust in it, but a brief look-over and it seemed OK, no holes in the block or signs of obvious leaks, it has been sitting for an unspecified amount of time though, so unknown really. -

If anyone wants me to do a Z one let me know, but no promises the lines of a Z aren't as easy to draw as a more squared vehicle. -
Yeah it does and can get quite cold during winter, this year where I am it has snowed a couple of times and it's frosted in the morning quite frequently. Have no porblem getting Caltex, but normal GTX or Magnatec? The only oil I can't find down where I am in the bottom of the South Island is the one I used (when I lived at the top of the North Island) in my Sportbike which was elf full synth, can't get any elf stuff down here. No probs getting Pennzoil, Duckhams, Mobil, Castrol, etc.

Just wondering, seeing as my car is new (to me) I really want to do an Oil and Filter change and I could ask the local mechanic people what to use, but I'd rather ask people who treat their engines and cars like children, that being; What brand or weight and viscosity oil do you use on your precious engines? mine's stock standard at the moment incase that's a factor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Surely that's a factory defect or manufacturer's fault, you should see who you can talk to about getting it replaced for free.

Oh another thing I'd like some help with. What Oil do you Australian guys use (I'm imagining your oil selection will be similar to NZ's except with more) in your L24's? Brand, weight, etc etc. Any help would be appreciated, being I've just got the car, I need to do a fresh oil and filter change. Thanks in advance.

The car at the moment is fairly stock the only changes are a few cosmetic ones ie. the GTR badges (which are actually an R33 front and an R32 rear) the lookalike grill piece, and the rear spoiler, oh and the rims and tyres of course, they're definately not the factory 175's :classic:
