I Live in Owatonna,Mn. The 260z is in really good shape. It's been in a barn sitting for about 10 years. I will change out all the fluids,Lubercate all the points that need it,Change all the hoses,put some cleaners in the new gas and the oil. The car runs,but hope sitting hasn't hurt anything. DeeDee

I personally would prefer a manual but I'm not being choosie. When I find a good thing and can't be that choosie. I've been wanting a 74 260z. I will take what I can get. I was lucky to find the 260z, I can't be picky on the tranny type. I can put up with the auto tranny, one small thing I can deal with. DeeDee

I have a question. I'm looking to buy a 74 260z with a auto tranny. I looked all over the internet and I can't find another auto 260z! Are they hard to find or what? All the 260z's I've seen on the internet are all manuals. Does the auto tranny add to the value of the car or not? DeeDee

Does anyone have the turbo wiring harness for an 83 280zx turbo. I need the main harness (I think) The one that goes through the driver side fender area, to hook up the ignition coil and the boost sensor.!!!!!!! DeeDee

I have the vin# for the turbo donor car.JN1CZO4S4DX750922 The car is an 83 280zxt. I have the 83 280zx FSM to, and the wires @ the boost sensor is supposed to go to the boost sensor amp. One of the wires(blue w/ white goes to the fuse box. I believe the other 2 wires (green + black) goes to the 2 wires tha come out of the boost gauge it's self.(I think) What do you think!!!!!!!! I need to know were the boost sensor amp is. Does anyone know were it is? I'm trying to bypass the main harness. The main harness is still non-turbo. I swapped the car over to turbo. The engine harnees and the dash harness was swapped over. Do I really need to swap the main harness?????? or come I bypass it at the boost sensor amp, were ever the damb thing is???? DeeDee

I took the driveshafts to a place near me they customize and fixe driveshafts and they said they can't take the non-turbo driveshaft end and put it on the turbo driveshaft. Do to the way the U-joins are put into the shaft,(they said they are punched in), once the are in they are in and con't be taken out of the shaft. DeeDee

I was wondering, Can you change just the yoke on the differencial instead of the whole differencial???? That would be easier, wouldn't??? DeeDee

victor leary, I still need to get a R200 differencial for the car. The car has the R180 diff. in the car and there isn't any around here with one. The driveshaft doesn't mate up with the current differencial.

I was wondering? What if you need the inserts of the seats replaced for a 260z were do you get some? do you get them with the seat upholstery kits? DeeDee

I'm looking to buy a 74 260z it only had 24,925 miles on the car. the car has been stored for the last 8 yrs. the last time the car was driven was 3 yrs ago. I gave an offer of $200-$300. The VIN# is RLS30-032381. DEEDEE

I have the same problem. The part I'm wondering is that the original VIN plate and dash for my car was thrown away. How do I get another one made(would it be legal)

Is it possible to change the yoke on the rear differencial? Are the yokes between the t-5 tranny and the R180 interchangable? I was wondering if I could put the mating end of the turbo driveshaft on the non turbo R180 differencial? DeeDee
