  1. Lachlan, I'm on this side of the pond, well beyond the back of Burke-the supply trucks don't roll this far, and no one has had any left at the end of awalkabout to share, or taken the energy to cary an empty jar-but sisnce it is a Kraft product, I will see if the next truck can bring some in. You always knew things were better in Australia than in the USA-I guess now you have proof! Thanks for the picture, the only intro I have ever had to is was in the lyric, and this thread! I hope there is no custom for vegemite like there is with shooting your first deer.... Will

There is a small cone shaped filter in the inlet nipple of the fuel pump on all of the EFI cars-it is hell to get out without destroying it, but it can be done. I will see about posting a picture of one tomorrow-we discussed this gem in at least one other thread sometime inthe last year and a half-but I don't remember exactly where. Will
  3. Exactly what is Vegemite? Is it like, vegetarian spam? Post a picture of a tin, box, or wrapper! Will

I use a similar boat filter setup in my cars, on the suction side of the pump-the filter is the same package as a Fram PH8A oil filter, but the media appears to be different. 3/8" in and out kept integration simple. Will
  5. Thanks Andrew, Late this afternoon, I will post a series of pictures of the side mirror we want to match-That part number should be a match for the mirrors we have. I have a list of three or four other possabilities as well. Since we can't get any of them here, we really don't know if anyof them matches... Here is the list of possible matches: 96301-P7200 96301-E4100 96301-P9100 The mirror we have as issued by nissan is part number 96301-E4600 this is the mirror I will be posting pictures of. The one real quandry I have is: If Nissan Part numbering convention is consistant, the part number for the match of the left mirror(96301-E4600) should be 96302-E4600, and that part number does not come up. Will
  6. I am already on it. Don't break ony mirrors yet! PM me. Will
  7. Could one of you guys from the places where Zs are sold withthe steering wheel on the right(not to be confused with correct!) side of the car see if the 240Z mirrors are available from the Nissan Dealer. A bunch of us Yanks are interested in huying them and having them shipped. Thanks to Carl Beck, we have a part number: 96301-P7200 I will post a picture a little later to help verify what we are asking for. Will
  8. I just visited the dealer with a list-including 96301-P7200. Not Available in the USA-can any of you lot on the other side of the pond get your mits on one or more? Rick, buddy, there could be a slab in it for you-just the thing after shutting of the TV of her who must be obeyed! Will
  9. Carl, You are the only person I know who spells DUH with ten characters!

That's a great birthday present-I have one of Kmacks Zcar spits, my car has enjoyed it so much I haven't been able to get her off the thing! It is a Barcolounger for the car-but boy does it make working on her convenient and comfortable! Happy belated Birthdays Will
  11. I recon you'd get a gobfull if you turned her tele off during one of those shows, and I recon they would be highly sensable from her point of view! I lived through a similar mistake just last week-still walking funny though the Doctor says the limp will go away when the bite out of arse grows back!! Publicity on the size of the donation has nothing to do with helping the charity, and everything to do with the public opinion of the donator. Even Charles Emmerson Winchester the third-habitual Pompass arse extrordinaire had that in his persona. If I gave a US charity 30 million and asked them to keep it on the QT-don't you think they would? They would have to tell the IRS, but that is all... Advertising is used to sell a product-be it a tangeable good or and intangeable opinion. Will

What about using the straight 6 from a late olds Bravada-variable valve timing plenty of hp, torque to spare, and the right size. Will

R12 is not available in small cans, and requires a license to buy to keep people from using it. As the supply of small cans dwindled before the licensing requirement date, the price went way way up! Will
  14. There is no Nissan part number for a passenger side mirror. I have spent hours looking and asking-The only ones I have ever found I bought, and are as Carl and Ben suggest-a drivers side with the flag turned around. Will
  15. Come on Rick, there are two things we Yanks got from You that we just couldn't get along with out! Well, Three-Frank, Buster, and Steve! ... ... ... The Koala Brothers, and Crock Hunter-everything else is well, an ashtray on a motorbike(No quite a sheep-but... Thanks for Brasso, but I don't think anything but a solvent could get the cloud out of the lamination adhesive in a windshield. Will Just for your entertainment... http://adisney.go.com/disneychannel/playhouse/koalabrothers/music/musicVideos.html -Hey, it works for my son!

Bill, I want to get you guys to post your thoughts and ideas, not just answer a series of questions with one of my answers. My answers are there only for those who eat lotus blossoms, those who want a second serving of soma, and those who want a fleeting visit to thinking about the underlying question, but have something rusty or incomplete in the garage, the back yard, or anywhere they can find to store it. The point of the poll is to make you think and then follow up with a post-looks like it is doing exactly what I wanted it to-! I could easliy make a closed ended poll, specific to a needle point, but what fun would it be to get only my answers back...I know what I think, what do you think? Thinking I am stupid is not an option I will ever put in a poll-no matter how closely it may resemble your reality! Will
  17. The mounting flange is not the issue-the manifold will bolt right up, the issue is the injector bosses. If you were to use the N42 flange, you would also need to enlarge the intake openings, the Maxima runner has an approximate inside diameter if 1&7/16" but the Z intakes have an approximate inside diameter if only 1&1/4" The runners for the Maxima Diesel are about 9" long (not counting the plenium) the Z runners are about 7" long to the plenum. Here are a couple of pictures of a Maxima Diesel manifold and a 280Zx Turbo Manifold. Yes, I did enlarge the opening on the 280ZX Turbo Manifold for a larger throttlebody... Will

  19. Why not just drill the maxima manifold for, and epoxy in, some injector bungs? Why not fab up a fiberglass(or Carbon Fiber) plenum that bolts to the maxima runners? No welding, no complicated tools(A drill press would be nice-but not necessary!)! Will
  20. I think I answered what I understood to be your question...yes? What would you still like to know? Will
  21. I just used it by hand to remove years of water spots on the quarter windows-see my gallery. It is a slow process-for anything over quarterwindows use the drill motor-unless you have several days-an hour each on the quarter windows! Wax on, wax off TomoHawkson! Will
  22. Eastwood sells a kit with a pad and mandrell for a drill motor, and powdered compound-it works well. http://www.eastwoodco.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemID=2010&itemType=PRODUCT&RS=1&keyword=glass+polishing Will

I have the Covell series, and the Metal Man Series too- bought it direct-excellent stuff. A websearch will turn up the direct route. Will
  24. As Ed said, use a center punch and start with small drill bits and enlarge the hole-If you use left hand drill bits, sometimes you don't get to use the easyout-DARN! Will
