Just be sure not to confuse the Z with an airplane-keep all four wheels firmly on the ground! Will
  2. The wheels are from a 280ZX Turbo, 15x6. Will
  3. Ok, what is the treatment on the bumpers, in one picture they look chrome, in another they look black-great looking Z though!!! Will

If I can round up another ZX clock by then! Will
  5. When the Z is finished-you WILL neglect the Benz-it is after all, just another steel box with wheels! The Z knows this and the Benz knows this-there is no tension, only a growing sense of German engineered dread... Will
  6. The Z is in control, you are just along for the ride!!! Will

Vicky-Now I know your car can't be classified as "Bone Stock"-the console palque is one thing, but an AA in the clock...That would be funny if it weren't so weird! Will
  8. Great first go round! A little polish, a steady cam, a little more consistancy, Some REAL women, and you are ready for the big leagues! Will

I just took the quartz movement out of a 280Zx-30 minutes of work, a perfect fit, and a working clock! Should I write up a tech article? Will
  10. As long as the women get along, there is no problem. If the Z doesn't like the other woman, she will make you walk and drain your wallet faster than you can blink. This is where the statement "0 to Bitch from Hell in 2.2 seconds" came from. Don't take this warning lightly. She will make you walk in the absolutely worst weather to prove the point that she can do things for you No real woman could! Introduduce them when they meet, and NEVER break a wax, wash, or tuneup date. You will not like her when she is angry, ever break one of those dates, and she will be. Treat her with respect, and she will never let you down-take her for granted, and she will get so much more than even! Will

already on the list-just down a bit! Will
  12. The door of any S30 will fit the opening, the mechanisms inside the doors vary; but, other than the different locks, they will not interfere! Will

Now how in the hell would you get that to stay in the Z clock housing and hook up the hands??? Will

At least he gives appropriate answers, Will
  15. They should fit-check the lock mechanisms-if they are the same-just bolt them on and you are done-if they are different, they can be modified to work. Will
  16. You can find the spacers on ebay from user JSKinnovations. I have the vented setup, and 11/16 seems too thick-I want to say from memory my spacer is about 3/8" I can check tomorrow if it would help. Don't forget the braided steel lines!!! Will
  17. E-gads, even with the warning, it is too late! Take our word for it the only way the wallet will stay on the console is if there is a credit card in it with some room, but the $5 just went to your new three basic food groups: fluids, parts, and accessoriesROFL! The only thing Enrique left out was that your appreciation for other Zs changes when you have one of your own. You start thinking: "I wonder how that original metal 240Z quarter window trim with the solid Z would look on my car. Wow, that one has a great looking map light-OMG, those taillights are perfect." Take a look in Enriques Gallery-You'll see what I mean, Halo tail lights...JDM headlight covers...NOS parts everywhere...tell me your pavlovian indicators aren't indicating-this also proves the cars are all women... It isn't even limited to Z-cars, I have caught myself thinking: "two weeks alone with that Z06 and I could have that drive train in my Z!":nervous: Be very aware of those thoughts, The temptation to go to the Dark Side is great. It starts with impure thoughts of "D" hubscaps in a Museum Parkinglot, and only gets worse. Other cars are not parts for your car until they are for sale or in the "Upull it". Remember, too, no matter how convenient, not every fenced in area is a "Upullit" We have al been there, we know the tricks. We will help you with our car because that way we know where you and your tools are....:paranoid: Welcome to the Club! Will

That rust God works in mysterious ways... even on Rock... Will

I looked at that car too-gotta love the hood ornament-at least when it is where it should be, and not on the hood! Don't forget the 280Z steering wheel, horn button, vented hood, 2+2 seat belt retractors, missing door pillar data plate, wild dome light, taped tail light trim, rusty rear overriders, and a lack of pictures of any areas prone to rust or of the other two VIN locations. When was the last time you found true "low profile" tires to fit a 14x5.5 rim? That said, it doesn't look too bad for a driver-but I would want confirmation of the Vin from the firewall before I considered it for anything else-It has too many parts from a later model car not to check that out. I would also wany pictures of the frame rails, Battery area, rockers and hatch and shelf(preferrably with the trim removed). Will
  20. The firewall is the only part of the chassis(I beleive) that is different-perhapse it had something to do with getting the car approved by the USA DOT. Will
  21. I wonder how in the hell that happened(see the next post)!!! Will
  22. I believe RHD cars have them on both sides... Will
  23. The headlight covers look good, but, Tell us more about the wheels! Will
  24. I like the new math-congratulations! Will
  25. It is the right car though,a '76 2+2-I just don't remember a hurst shifter being in any of the interior shots-My first Z was a car just like it-and got a cheep thrill when I saw it in the movie, and really checked it out. Will
