Speaking of having trouble removing gages, I replaced the speedo and tach in my restored '72 dash with 280Z gages after replacing the housings and the pointers. The gages were seemingly glued in-the new foam had shrunk too snug to budge with considerable force. I called Dash Restorations, and they advised me to use a heatgun to carefully heat up the area around the gages. Not wanting to risk damaging the parts, I took the dash outside and placed it in direct sunlight for an hour or two. The gages came out and were replaced after upgrading them with some effort, but no damage. Will

TomoHawk, get another full face cap, and just use "dots" of regular silicone adhesive at the edges-I posted specific installation instructions that I know you read. If you install that way, the cover is easily removeable without damage to anything, but in a 280Z the bulbs are in sockets that are easily removeable from underneath, and the gages can come out the back! Will PS, PM me if you need more direction on the cover.

I have been wondering where the big lugnut has been myself. I have the same response to emails-and trolling! With as much to say as he has, he has to be saying it somewhere! Even when we dissagreed, I could always rely on his opinion to be well explained/defended, and undeniably his. Sometimes his posts were not in the same continent with diplomacy, but they were 100% honest, passionate, and not generally added just to stir the pot. Where ever he is, you can bet there is a motorbike, a sheep and a Pinto! Come to think of it, I believe I just narrowed our search to his garage! (I'll just keep chumming the threads....) I hope all of this isn't just to get me to post two pictures... (more chum...) Carl, if you are ghosting the site, don't pull a Chloe on us.... Will
  8. Many members have bought wheels from that seller-there are other threads-he seems to have a great following. Will

Bill, All of the money she has can't make up for the diseases she has, and her lack of tallent-money can wag the dog, buy air time, air brushing, disguise an air head, and build a body, but when you reduce her actions to lowest terms you still have a cheep slut in expensive surroundings-stick to your breats and thights-a nice girl next door will take better care of you, and give you a much greater shot at happiness-she belongs with the likes of-what was the guy that lived in OJ simpsons house named... She is a waste of breath, tape, film and thought-let her go... Will

  18. The Hyperflex kit is great stuf-but that price is about $50 too high-there are other threads where we members have covered this same kit-and pricing/ebay sellers-while I don't remember all of the particulars right off the top of my head, I do remember that I posted them to atleast two threads. I drove from Arlington, Va. to Savannah, Ga. today, and the 91 octane was 2.87 in Arlington, 2.81 in Roanoke Rapids, NC. 2.79 inSantee, Sc. and 2.75 in Savannah! Yeeouch! I could have flown round trip for $99! DOOOOH! Will
  20. Oh sure, I have to travel for a couple of days, and this happens... A side mirror surfaces... Five posts and nothing, but let me have a funeral to attend... Will Seriously, post some pictures...at least of the mirror! Will
  21. Also compare rockauto.com Sometimes great prices, sometimes good prices, sometimes painful prices. All of the biggies are on line, and you can shop prices all night to buy the next day-save that $3 a gallon gas until you need to pick up the parts. Search the manufacturers too. Will

  25. Cap the return line orface, and bleed the vapor off just before the carb by putting a nipple at the inlet fitting, and hooking the return line there. Also replace the mechanical pump with an electric one, and run the fuel lines from the fender instead of around the engine. Will
