Thanks for that.....I need a full interior for my 260, last year i passed up on about 5 260's because of rust, now that i dont care about rust for a parts car, I cant find anything and to make things wores, prices have gone up. Must be a surge in the Z popularity with the 350Z release. I was trying to be lazy and pick up one of the plenty 2+2's around, I really think a full car is the way to go as I will need to wire up the dash, all window mechanisms, all little clips, bolts, screws etc etc I will keep looking for a cheap 2 seater and stop being lazy

Hi, Does anyone know definately how much of the interior including all trims and dash can be swapped over from a 2+2 into a 2 seater. Thanks

Well, as i said I would sell it as long as i didnt lose too much so i could start again on a complete car.... I would say both of us have spent too much of something we shouldnt have and now have to deal with it Back on track, and complete 260Z 2 seaters for under $2k in any shape?? Then a couple monthes ago I emailed you (Zpeed) to see if you were intersted in MY straight rust free shell Since then I have done a bit of custom bodywork and another respray so the $2k I wanted for it is N/A anymore Anyhow, If your (Datto-Zed) seriously intersted in my shell let me know, however I think it may be a bit pricey for what your after seeing that I have spent over $5k now. On the other hand if you (Datto-Zed) want to sell you car as is to start again, I may be interested also Ironic....

I saw that coating, I guess my argument is that if I use a sound deadener instead of the chassis coat, it has some sort of noise reduction function, as well as being cheaper.

I have been told that these are not directly interchangeable however I have seen a 260Z with 240Z tail lights, what exactly is involved in fitting them? Thanks

Is there any difference between an Organic Vapor Respirator and the regular rubber masks with disposable filter attachments you can buy at the hardware store? As for the sound deadening on the inside, the reason i was thinking about using the paint on stuff was to cover the POR15 as it is unstable when exposed to light? colouration only perhaps, but still...

Hi, I am in the process of stripping the inside and underside of my floorpan back to clean metal, then coating with POR15 followed by a layer of underbody deadener. The underside is not a problem but I am just wondering if this is the best approach for the inside. Arguments are: - it wont look as nice on the inside, however it will be carpeted over anyway. - it will make future floor rust inspection harder, however rust should not be a problem after the thorough stripping and POR15 Thanks
