Lost My keys
What's a refaccionera? I thought Spanish for locksmith was 'cerrajerÃa'. EDIT: Never mind....I guess you meant REFACCIONARIA as in parts store.

Flat top SU float pin removal
You'll probably have to use a pair of small precision pliers or jeweler's pliers to get it out. Be careful not to bend the float stopper.

Rally Clock for sale on Ebay

I might be buying a 240 parts car
John, that basically fills in the blanks I left with my post.

I might be buying a 240 parts car
Although it sounds fishy, it's missing at least one ingredient for me to call it a scam. Had the guy offered to call off his other deal if Mike would come up with a little more cash, maybe then........

New Hot Wheels 240Z
I've got that one. I'm waiting for the 2009 new models which should be out soon. #2 of 15 in that series is a blue 510 2dr.

Or try a 71 sending unit.

77 & 78 Intake Manifold Compatibility
I think the webbing might have been another attempt by Nissan to lower emissions by lowering heat to the intake.

Congratulations to Carl Beck!
I will eventually go back to Portland one way or another. I'd like to live there someday once again but it that doesn't happen our family plot is at Lincoln Memorial Park in Portland.

You might just need a vavle job but if I was going to do that I'd do rings and bearings too but that's just me.

tire size on 280z
No rubbing whatsoever.

tire size on 280z
How wide a look do you want? Modern wide or period correct wide? 22560s do work on those rims all the other comments notwithstanding. I wouldn't go out and by new tires and rims just for the promise of a "potential handling benefit". I don't race the car, I just drive it but they do handle better that the stock size tires. But, like I said, no autocross here, or anything like that.

tire size on 280z
Bear in mind that these wheels are 5.5" wide and I've been told the same thing about them as Walter said, that is that 2256014s should only be mounted on rims that are minimum 6" wide. These tires and rims have been on my car over 5 years and I've had no problems with them.

77 & 78 Intake Manifold Compatibility
My stock California EGR/Cat intake is webbed. The ones I've seen are pretty much all California cars so basically that's all I can speak of.
-
tire size on 280z
When you say 'Factory 4 spoke rims' do you mean these? (Arne must have forgotten about these) I have 2256014s on them with no problems.

77 & 78 Intake Manifold Compatibility
From what I understand 75-76 are the same and 77-78 are the same or so I've been told. Compared a 75 and a 78 in the junkyard and I think they're all the same until the ZX. Fuel rails changed but I don't think the intake manifolds did. It's the exhaust manifolds that were different depinding on whether the head was a N42 or a N47.

EP Race Airs at NOON Today EST
Yeah it looks like they missed the setup by little. Greg's car was fast enought to win however.

I took it the other way. That is, I thought he was saying the the dealers installed the splash pans to improve ventilation.
-
Temperature Gauge swap
The 71 uses a different sending unit for the guage which is what's likely causing the problem.

New Slave.....No Result
Thanks Bob. That is basically what I was saying. After he 'removed the master cylinder and cleaned that' (his words) I assumed that he bench bled it also. In either case the problem would be in the master cylinder either that it needs to be bled or it's not functioning correctly.

Blanks for the door jam
Oh yeah....you can buy virtually any sticker, plate, tag etc. the these cars ever had on them. Banzai Motorworks and New Datsun Parts.com come to mind but there are others.
