This was my last fuel level using sight plastic hoses fastened to the drain holes of the carbs. Am i good? I wish i could purchase the float sync tool but the guy that manufactures them is no longer interested in building more of them.

Im experiencing some strong noise whenever i step on the brakes coming from the rear drums. Should i remove the wheels and inspect the shoes are not worn or use 80 sanding paper on them?

Brake upgrade
Do you really need to upgrade to rear brake discs and pads in place of the drum brakes? I use my car only on satursdays and sundays.

20mm down from where? I guess the best method should be the plastic tube connected to the drain plugs with the engine at idle.

Its not a high pitch squealing. Its different maybe metal on metal. I only use this car on sundays as i hate the traffic in Panama.

Loud noise coming from rear brakes on my 240z
I have been noticing there is a loud noise produced whenever i step on the brakes once i crank the engine and start driving out from the garage. The noise comes from the rear brakes. How do i get rid of this noise? Will i need to open the drum brakes and sand any parts?

Cleaning and polishing camshaft cover
Do i need to cover the valves with some kind of plastic wrapping once i remove the cover? I wouldnt like any insects such as roaches, worms, or mouse inside the valves while i take days to polish the cover.

Cleaning and polishing camshaft cover
Can you clean and polish the camshaft cover without removing it from the engine? If so how would you accomplish this task?

Random Misfire while cruising
Just pulled out all 6 plugs havent got into any heavy traffic. Plugs 4 and 3 came out a little bit more black. I will clean them up with brass wire brush and try again. The order of the pics is 6 5 4 3 2 1 left to right.

Removing the Valve cover for Polishing
Question: once i remove, clean and polish the valve cover on my 240z will i need a new valve cover gasket and how tight should i fasten the bolts to avoid the heat drawn by the engine destroying the border of the cork gasket. I dont see this describe in the haynes manual. Should i also cover the engine camshaft and valves with plastic wrapping paper to avoid any insects or dirt getting inside while i am polishing?
