the window moves at an angle, toward the back of the door as it goes up, its not in the window frame weatherstripping until its almost all the way up. it needs to be aligned as it reaches the top.

see image for the problem i'm having - turns out both the rollers on the driver side were broken off. ( explains the window rattle when closing with door down ) and of course the passenger side and driver side are mirror images...... something else to hunt down. i ended up rolling the window up, pushing it into position and then snugging up the bolts - then it was hard to roll up, so loosened the front bolts and got it moving again then tightened everything down, seems to be working - window still slightly off but it seats itself now.

Hello, i just found a great pdf on window adjustment, and it mentioned the rear roller was "optional". In process of removing rear rollers now. ( unfortunately, i was unclever on the drivers side and both rollers dropped into the door when i pulled the trim off!... live and learn......)

i recently purchased a 70 240z in great shape, but i find when i roll up the windows, i basically have to push them out as they near top window frame to get them to seat in the weatherstripping. i've tried adjusting the tracks, but that doesn't seem to help. i've searched for a good exploded view of the door, but none of them show the rollers. on my car both the rollers are on the outside - is that correct? They push the window inward, which seems like its causing the problem. any help would be appreciated. thanks, Ken
  5. i was having similar issues. purchased 160 thermostat and temp sender from rock auto - gauge was reading high and put thermostat on the oven and it didn't open till 180+. purchased sensor and thermostat from the z-store - everything working great.
  6. word of warning!!! make sure the shoulder on the temp. sender unit is the same length, just replaced old unit with "standard" unit from rock auto - the shoulder was longer and broke off the nipple from the thermostat housing!! time for a new thermostat housing.....
