  1. Thank you 26th-Z. Yes, we have discussed this to death in other threads and I appreciate your willingness to allow your pix to be archived to my site for future reference. If you have anything of particular interest please shoot me a note and I'll be sure to get it on my site. Also a note to all, you can bookmark my page if you like as I have a static IP address and the pages are hosted on the server in my home office so there should never be access issues unless it is due to temporary outates for upgrades or DSL being down.
  2. Please read through this thread, I have posted a link to the mirror of this information on my site.
  3. I think that what you are looking for is located on both sites in Cheat-Sheet/240Z-Cheat-Sheet.html
  4. He was kind enough to provide me with a copy of all this information months ago and I have it all available on my site (I'm pretty sure that this is the same guy). I have also added to it since I got all of the info from him. Please take a look here. If you have something you would like to contribute please shoot me an email.
  5. Buy it and take it to another state that is not as strict.
  6. Available for download here.

Man why bother when you can use a tool like this! http://www.geocities.com/z_design_studio/
  8. Some of you mentioned about the price of the Barracuda from the Wall Street Journal article as I recall. Well here's a real life example of how high these get...and it's still climbing!! :surprised http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4505947525&category=6409

I am in need of a series I tail light wire harness (the part the bulbs go in). It does HAVE to be from a series I as I just found out the connectors are different, the series I connectors are considerably larger than those on the 240Z made from '71-'73. I need one but would gladly buy the pair if necessary. I need this part ASAP! And am willing to pay for priority shipping. I failed inspection and found that someone has totally hacked, trashed, and ruined one of my tail light harnesses and this appears to be the cause of the problem.
  10. Sorry just pointing out what will be noticed by any Z fan at a show or when pix of the car are shown around.
  11. Except for the electric wires going to the ignition that wouldn't otherwise be there at all.
  12. Rear engine slinger??? I've never heard of such a thing...but hey, I know know every part on these by any means. Can you give me a description and maybe a pic of it?

GREAT VIDEO!! Anyone happen to have downloaded the second video from the other thread mentioned above? That link appears to be dead and I'd like to see it too.

I just found this great site where you can buy one state-side all up to the US standards and legal...for a price of course. You can even order engines/parts from them!! http://www.motorex.net/skyline.html#
  16. It's his business, not mine...I told him what I thought and left it at that.

If you live in AR and went to Nebraska for the car what the hell were you doing in MI? Dude, you got totally lost and went the wrong way! Hope your foot didn't hit the road when it went through the floor!! Get some sleep Bill, it sounds like you will need it to begin doing all the work this car needs. I wish that this had spell check in it, some posts are very tough to read.
  18. WTF!? Did you look at the pix? We're not talking about distance Bill.
  19. I have a Yat-Ming here on my desk and like it...then again it's the only die-cast I have seen so I can't really compare it to the others.

My tail light and brake light fuses keep blowing. I have put in the proper 20A fuses but they get really hot and blow immediately. Any thoughts?
  23. Agreed on all points! I'd never do this myself; then again I have a pickup and trailer at my disposal and he didn't.
  24. It was on a trailer that was placed as close to the door of the car as possible (about 8" away) and one guy in the car on one end of the engine lifting and pulling and a second guy on the trailer at the other end of the engine lifting and pushing. Moved it a few inches with each go at it and it only took about 5 minutes to get in there once the proper method was determined. He did tie it down with some rope so that it wouldn't end up on the front seat.
