The only other models I have are 1/24 by Fujimi from Japan that have to be assembled. I have a pic of these but don't know how to attach it here. Nick.

Lachlan, you must have been the one bidding against me on ebay last year for the one in the case. I've since got the model but without the mag wheels.

Thanx 2many, They don't seem to have what I'm looking for. Maybe they will produce it sometime in the near future.

Are there any 1/18 diecast models of the GTR C110 available from Kyosho. I have a few of the KPG10 in both race & street models & want the C110's as well. Nick.

It's been done a few times in Japan, click on Coung's pic for 1 example, & I was mearly stating that alot of members get upset when they see a modified Z (not that they complained about the engine) & voice their negative opinion. It seems that this guy has run out of money but come on guy's, don't rub it in.

I beleive that very few from this club really know what the RB26DETT is capable of in any car, Couong is 1 of them. He is also 1 of very few that actually appreciate the time & effort that others put in their pride & joy as opposed to putting S**T on just about every modified Z that appears here. Maybe alot of the members here would have greatly appreciated it if this guy with the 350Z had stuck a L6 in it.

Alan, you are very close if the measurement of 136.75mm that I have been given is the correct one. Nick.
  11. nixcars posted a post in a topic in Old Want Ads
Alan, where did you get these specs from?, some are totaly different to the L6 calculator from the Sydney Z club. This is why I need confirmation from a manual as I'm starting to think that the calculator could not be all that correct. Nick.

A set of six L14 rods needed.
  13. nixcars posted a post in a topic in Old Want Ads
Alan, I need these rods for the length. Combined with a VG30 N/A short skirt, lighter piston I can build a smoother revving L28. As for rod bolts, ARP units in 8mm will do the job. If the L14 rods are too hard to source, then L20A (6 cyl) rods with RB30 N/A pistons will do the trick providing the rod length is 135mm. I need somebody to confirm this length as someone has said that they are the same length as L24 rods, (133mm). Nick.

I'm after six L14 rods myself, anyone? Nick.

I hope this will answer a few questions. These are available from D.C & O Injection here in Australia. These particular type of T/B's are a little different from the ones available from EFI Hardware in that the housings are only 1" wide (without ram tubes) & they have no injector ports. The EFI hardware type are also available from D.C & O. In order to get this set up to work I had to make my own intake manifold by doing a cut & shut on a standard L6 EFI & a tripple webber manifold. In doing this it utilises the original injector ports & it also gives more room between the LH strut tower & the intake set up. The price for these was around $900AUS + $? for the accelerator stoppers & joiners.

I'm currently working on a set up for myself. See pic in my gallery, (Multiple TB's). If anyone can upload the pic to be viewed by others on the thread, please do. Nick.
  19. As per normal Gav, everything is the same as far as spline, flywheel bolt pattern etc goes. Nick.
  20. Hey Gav, Are you interested in a lightened flywheel (about 6.8 kg from memory) it's been balanced together with a R31 pressure plate (more clamping force) & has a R31 clutch plate which is 240mm in diameter as opposed to 225mm standard. This give you more pad area. I have the whole set up with new clutch plate & new bearing for $395. Nick.

It's a regretfull sale, I had big plans for this car but it has to go. It's a 7/74 model & is an unfinished project. The shell is in 2-pack primer, the rest of the panels need primer, engine bay is finished & has been painted in charcoal metallic (2000 GT-R colour). I will also supply the GT-R fender flares. The front suspension is modified, it now has adjustable height narrow coil overs with 200 pound KYB gas inserts, & 4 spot brake callipers with veted discs (this alone cost $1400) & has only done 1000kms since installed. I also have new KYB rear gas shocks for it. I have the original short motor but no g/box or diff, otherwise all the parts to put it back together are there. The price is $2500 (firm) & if you're serious I could possibly throw in a 5 peed & diff out of a Z. No pics at the moment, but I will endevour to put some up in my gallery. The reason I'm selling is that it has taken time away from my Z project which I want finished for the 2005 Nationals. Feel free for any Q's. Nick.
