WOW....I read this post and must admit ....what a delight ....had a smoke to calm the post excitement .
  2. Distance should not be an obstacle, it is Cali car, any rust issues will be minimal if any, add the transport cost and you are ahead.I rather pay transportation $ against $$$$$ in body work.:bulb:
  3. I had a LHD and it was not fun driving on I95 behind an eighteen wheeler .....not easy to pass and on a single lane SCARY.
  4. That has to be the best looking blue big bumper Z in captivity ......lots of mula .So it is evident that our cars are collectors items,I try very hard to keep both of my 72 orange DATSUNS in top condition ,to me this hobby is my mental health avenue with vast memories .
  5. The 68 RL3 ROADSTER sold for $38,500.00,was not shown on TV......I am on the market for a roadster and I will paint it 918 orange to match my mini DATSUN herd.
  6. Yes it is a big show, big money and BIG time restorations for big pockets , but these venue as well as other auctions are watched by the insurance industry for establishing values,so it has some degree of validity . This old DAT SUN hobby is a money pit , for some of us spending $ under 10k, the low to high teens to the low 20's is justified and for others this is money change.
  7. The gold 79 ZX was the lowest priced car at the auction $2,200.00.....The 68 roadster will be hammer on Sunday.

EBAY...........also known as EBAYMART.,,,has plenty of parts for sale and you can sense the values on tons of Z used parts.
  9. :cool:Prices on the 72 and 73 Z's were in range with NADA values 4k to 23k......the 280's went over NADA max value of 14k and the 510 also went over NADA max value of 7k.
  10. I likes it ....it has the BRE magic.....but yes a bit overpriced.
  11. Nice Z......sweet early model that will be enjoyed .......
  12. The last Z at BJ 2012, a red 280 sold for 18k.........
  13. My opinion....unmolested w/period mods 71,72, 73...510 two doors will bring more money than Z's in the near future, not many out there. I own both an orange 72 Cali 240Z and a Cali 72 510 orange two door sedan.
  14. I came across a polished set of zx's wheels and the slots wheels will go on EBAY.
  15. Four Z cars went down the auction on Tue and Wed,,, a convertible "FERRARI GLASS'',A BRE replica,a none restore and a G nose V8........ Your OPINIONS:bulb:
