THE MARRIAGE FAIRY A couple had been married for 25 years and was celebrating the husband's 60th birthday. During the party, a fairy appeared and said that because they had been such a loving couple all those years, she would give them one wish each. As Bambikiller said, the lettering on the glove box is supposed to be white, at least it is in my 240. If you think silver is bad on the steering wheel you should see mine. My ex went beserk trying to get rid of all the leftover paint (Nason's starburst blue mettallic), and painted my steering wheel blue!! But now I know how to fix it!!

If it runs, for 250 I don't see how you could go wrong.

Hi and congratulations!! I also have a 72 240Z and all they require at inspection is that it can pass all safety issues. The cost is 12.00 for the sticker. (My car takes 4 quarts.) Have fun, Bonnie

I love to go fast, but to me, looks come first. Of course, when you are restoring the car you make it mechanically sound before you start on the looks. (Especially if you are driving it in the meantime, as I am!!) It always makes me sad to go to a car show and see classic old cars distorted beyond recognition by some moron with more money than sense. KEEP IT ORIGIONAL!!!!! (Just my 2 chirps worth)

Sure wasn't me! My kids were laughing and told me the other day that I had learned just enough about cars to be dangerous! (Kids really keep you humble). My youngest son is a Z fan also and had a 280 until a drunk lady hit him.

A lot of the problems that I am having with the car now are because of my ex-significant other. The only person I let drive it now is my youngest son, who loves it as much as I do and babies it. He had a 280 untill a drunk lady hit him and he really misses it. My oldest son has only driven it one time, he doesn't really like it and has no interest in driving it.

Hey Derk, My ex-husband had a 944, just like the one you mentioned, same year, color and everything. I used to blow his doors off in a quarter mile. The ticket I got the other day was only 81 in a 60!! I don't feel so bad now!! The fastest I have ever had this car was 115. I figure when it gets to the point that you feel like it is about to take flight, it's time to back off!!

Wow, that is amazing!!! (I have got to get a new pair of reading glasses). Mine sure didn't look anywhere near that nice when it was in that state. Due to very bad body work I have to go through all that again. (After I get the suspension lined out right). It has rust popping out all over it and it looks awful. You are right to wait and get someone who knows what they are doing and that will do it right the first time.

It looks so good in primer I can't wait to see it in paint!!
