Reminds me of waking up from surgery with an "X" on my good ankle. Kind of scared me.

Rust Advice 78 280z
I found a good read on driving the races and bearings off and on. After that it was easy. Torqueing down the castle nut proper was the hardest part. Looks good!

Won't go into gear
You've got the two transmission guys that'll help get it figured out. I'll just read along from here on out. I asked because I had an issue with my shifter when I first put a 5 speed in mine. It wouldn't stay in 3rd or reverse.

Did it used to go through the gears without problems? I know you said you parked it for that reason but was it ever right since you've had it?

Float not filling
It took me about 3 months to figure out what you did today! That upside down way on the dvd won't work with the needle valves, apparently only the Grose valve with the ball instead of a needle or pin. I sure wish they'd made that clear when I bought my rebuild kit and dvd but it was fun I guess. There's a thread or two on here now, your adding another one. Good work.

How to tell R or L hand cut key?
Not sure about this since it's from Australia but in trying to figure out why they would have left and right key it seems Nissan used two steering lock types. Two different key types?

Checking correct fuel level at Round Top 3 screw SU CARBS Float bowls
You could take advantage of the quarantine time to wrap your head around the famous "equally sh*tty" tune. You'll run on the front 3 cylinders only, then the back 3. To equalize the sh*tty you turn the knobs on bottom getting them to run just barely though at about 600 rpm if I rembered right. Seems like my front one is 3 or about turns down. Rear is 2.5. You'll need a timing light that shows engines rpms to do this precisely. You have the air flow meter right? Can hardly wait! Jajajajaja
